Wow I can’t believe 2020 has already come to a close. It’s been a crazy year with a lot of changes, but one thing remains the same... God! No matter what obstacles life throws your way, He’s got your back. One thing the Lord has taught me this year is that our perspective is what determines our outcome. When we have a positive perspective and remain hopeful, things seem to turn out a lot better (and even if they don’t we know it’s going to be ok). I thought it would be a fun idea to recap this year and take a look back at all the good He has done in my life!

  1. Senior year ended a little earlier than we expected... got to spend a lot of time with the fam
  2. After YEARS of practice, I auditioned and made it to the advanced aerial team (if only they didn’t close a month later)
  3. Started to prepare for the race & made friendships before we even met in person
  4. Graduated! Thx God!
  5. Spent the summer at the beach before my friends went to college
  6. Morgan visited me in RI... first time we met in person
  7. Spent a few weeks in New Hampshire enjoying some family time before Georgia
  8. Met up with the squad in Georgia! Community is a blessing! So many new friends & memories! Bucket showers, hand washing clothes, tenting, sleeping in a room with 40 people!
  9. 2 weeks of ministry in Louisiana. Lots of team bonding. God showed up in so many ways
  10. Led squad church & spoke about the Body of Christ
  11. I got baptized!
  12. Our men hosted the most intentional dinner for us ladies
  13. Sent home early :( God works in mysterious ways because I was able to take everything we learned in Georgia and apply it to life at home
  14. Tested positive for Covid... lots of time to reflect on the race & facetime friends/family
  15. Met Beth’s puppy Tessie. Spent quality time with family (Alessia and I love a good Disney movie)
  16. Surprised Morgan in Buffalo... we’re here until we launch!

What are you thankful for this year? Is there anything you need to let go of or hold on tighter to? God is greater than the highs and lows!

I leave for Costa Rica in 1 WEEK! How crazy! I still need to fundraise $2,000 to be able to go! I appreciate all the prayers and support! If you’d like to support me financially you can donate anytime on my blog or venmo me Becca-Engstrom-1
