Due to Covid-19, we’ve had some changes to our travel plans. As you all know we’ve been in Georgia for 3 months now since we couldn’t launch overseas in September.  Living in Georgia has really been a blessing in disguise, I’ve seen so much growth and discipleship within our community. We can’t wait to finally launch overseas with all the new wisdom we’ve practiced! Our original plan to serve in Africa has changed because their borders are still closed. With that said, I’m SO excited to announce the first country we’ll be going to... COSTA RICA!

We’ll be serving in Costa Rica from January-March. “The Adventures Base in Costa Rica works to build relationships with locals and host and disciple teams that come through. They work with a variety of local and remote ministries around San José and take teams to serve in daycares and feeding programs. They also invite teams to join them in evangelism, prayer walks, home visits, spiritual teaching and activations, teaching English, sport ministries, and children's programs.”

Now it’s about time I introduce team Agape!! Our squad is made up of 40 people, and teams are split up into 6-7 people. We do ministry in teams and have team time every night where we catch up and debrief our day! Here’s my team (from left to right) 

Hailey: intentional, life of the party, there to sit in the woods or porta potty with me any time of day 

Libby: trustworthy, honest, a friend to all, knows exactly what to say to make you laugh

Cassi: (our team leader) courageous, attentive, shares her boujee ice cold leader water 

Chloe: curious, authentic, willing to go for a run any day (even with a sprained ankle)

Miranda: giving, reliable, the strongest women I’ve ever met in my life

Cat: cool skater girl, peacemaker, caring, always down to share snacks
