The journey has just begun and I'm already feeling so blessed. I've had the opportunity to talk to some of the people who will be on my team next year and I'm so thankful for the friends I have already made. Being accepted to the World Race was the initial step towards my missionary trip but now I need YOUR help!! I need to fundraise $16,000 in order to go on this trip and it's only possible with the help of my friends and family. 

The idea of fundraising $16,000 seems so overwhelming I don’t even know where to begin. For weeks I have been brainstorming ways to fundraise and contemplating where to begin. I’m sure everyone has experienced this feeling at some point, whether it’s with schoolwork or maybe chores at home. It’s important to remember that “With God nothing is impossible” ~Luke 1:37. He will provide for us... so all we have to do is put our trust in him and get started. With that said, I've decided to put aside any feelings of anxiety and place my worries in God's hands as I move forward in the process of fundraising.

For my first fundraiser I will be selling tee shirts! I'm so excited to partner with "Fund The Nations" to create these shirts. I will be selling them for $25 each. These shirts are super comfy and cute- the perfect Christmas present or a way to treat yourself! The quote on the shirt "Trust the wait, Embrace the uncertainty" means a lot to me because throughout the process of the World Race I have learned to have patience and put my trust in God as I wait, as well as embracing whatever may happen.
