Hi everybody, hope you're all doing well and staying safe during these scary times. We all know about the Coronavirus by now, and I want to shy away from talking about that as much as possible because I think we've all heard enough. I've been getting a lot of questions/concerns about my trip (for obvious reasons) and I want to address them here. YES, I am still going on the World Race. Adventures in Missions has been keeping us updated everyday and they are very hopeful of our launch in September. Our 10 day training camp originally in July has been moved to September, so now we will launch immediately after that. This was unexpected but I'm very thankful they are taking the measures needed to keep us safe and on the right path! I put a hold on fundraising last month because I know a lot of people had concerns about my trip being cancelled and people do not have a ton of extra money to be spending right now... totally understandable!! Unfortunately, this set me back A LOT. My next goal was $5,000 by the end of April which is double where I'm at right now. I talked to my WR advisor (thank you Drew!) and he encouraged me to share my thoughts with my supporters so they can be praying for me. With that said, I have some prayer requests :)

1. Pray for the health & safety of everyone right now- so that this chaos will slow down and end soon!

2. Pray for all of the Racers that we stay encouraged & hopeful through these times. 

3. Pray that I will meet my financial goals & ask the Lord if you feel called to support my ministry. 

4. Pray that we use this extra time to grow closer to God and focus on what's important.

I think it's really important to stay close to God in these times. Many of us have a lot more free time with school and work being cancelled- this is a great opportunity for us to spend time in His word. Challenge yourself to write out a list of what you're grateful for or maybe start a new devotional! We need to have faith and trust that God knows what He's doing and what our plans for the future are. "Do not be afraid for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." -Isaiah 41:10.
