Hey everyone, what’s up? How’s it been? Sorry it’s been awhile since my last update, we made it to the Dominican Republic and have been super busy. We made it here 3 weeks ago and haven’t had a lot of time to rest; but serving here has been so rewarding! We’ve been doing house visits 4 days a week, and attending church and youth groups 1-2 days a week. We usually do house visits from 8am-3pm through Santiago villages. This past week we’ve been doing mountain ministry, so we’ve hiked up a mountain about an hour away and get to hang out with many locals. During house visits our team is usually invited inside to houses and offered chairs to sit down, everyone has been so generous and welcoming! Then we take time getting to know them and their families. We have the opportunity to share the Gospel and personal testimonies. We even get to invite kids back to the church to play and hang out all day! Children’s ministry usually involves learning some more Spanish and trying to communicate with the kiddos haha- we play lots of different games and get to love on them! Church on the weekends is usually a few hours in Creole with LOTS of loud singing…  at least an hour of singing and dancing. Although we don’t understand Creole it’s been cool getting to see how the Lord still speaks to us differently during church. I’m so thankful for this experience and all the growth the Lord had shown me! Only a few months left and I’ll be on my way home. Some things you can be praying for:

-The locals we talk to, that they listen with open ears and hearts and experience the presence of the Lord

-Energy, joy, and eagerness for ministry everyday (we’ve been very exhausted lately and praying for God’s strength to get us through the next few months)

-Continued health and safety of our squad!
